INFOMANT PROTECTION POLICY

We operate an informant protection program so that informants can safely report cases without any disadvantages.

1 Responsibility to Report

This policy encourages anyone including GS Caltex employees to raise concerns regarding GS Caltex's business activities and functions to prevent improper behaviors and take proper measures against them. GS Caltex employees have the responsibility to report behaviors related to its business activities that violate or may violate internal rules or laws.

2 Prohibition of Retaliation

Retaliation conducted by GS Caltex or its employees against well-intentioned informants with good faith is a violation against the vision and value of GS Caltex, the GSC Way. Hence, informants with good faith are protected in accordance to GSC policies/procedures and relevant laws, and employees retailate for reports are subject to disciplinary measures including dismissal.

3 Report Policy

GS Caltex encourages interested parties including its employees to share inquiries, concerns, suggestions, or complaints with itself based on the 'Open door policy.' Hence, it is recommended that anyone, who expereicnes discomfort talking to one's boss or dissatisfaction with his or her response, discuss with the ethical management hotline, CCO(Corporate Compliance Officer), UCO(Unit Compliance Officer), the audit office, and the compliance team. Moreover, ones in charge of management and supervision in each organization should report behaviors that violate or may violate internal rules or laws to CCO or the audit office that has to right to investigate them.

4 Confidentiality

The informant is guaranteed strict confidentiality, and the reported content is guaranteed confidentiality at its maximum level considering proper investigation.

5 Report made in good faith

When reporting through documents including electronic documents, the informant should acknowledge that the act of reporting is based on good faith and that the reported content is backed by sufficient evidence. Malicious or intentious report of false fact may be subject to punishments or other disciplinary measures.

6 Processing of Reports

Relevant department that receives the report notifies the informant that it has received the report, and all reports are under quick investigation and according measures. Additionally, reported content is protected under strict secruity measures.
